cs2.boo rewatches your CS2 demos and tells you what to work on. Here’s the short version of what data we keep, why we need it and how to get it deleted.
What we store
- Your Steam profile. Steam ID, nickname and avatar. We get them when you sign in through Steam.
- Matches and demos. We download Valve match demos from Valve’s servers using the match history authentication code you add yourself. FACEIT matches come from the FACEIT Data API, matched to your Steam account. Demo files are deleted once they’re parsed; we keep only the stats calculated from them.
- Stats from the demos. Rounds, kills, positions, grenades, economy. A demo includes every player in the match, so their nicknames and Steam IDs are saved with it.
- Your Steam match history authentication code. We use it to find your new matches. You can turn syncing off in settings.
- The desktop app. If you connect it, we keep its token and the last game state it sent.
- Your activity on cs2.boo. Coach reports, your training log and the time you spend reviewing demos.
- Public Steam bans of players from your matches.
Cookies
We set three cookies: your session after you sign in, your settings and your language. There are no ads, analytics or third-party trackers on the site.
AI coach
To write coaching tips we send your nickname and the stats we calculated from your matches to the DeepSeek language model (or a backup AI provider): numbers, maps, dates and round numbers. Your Steam ID, avatar and access codes are never sent.
Player check
The player check works on Valve matchmaking matches. It shows statistical signals from the demos and the public Steam ban history. The person looking at the check makes the call.
Who we share data with
We don’t sell data or share it with advertisers. Only the services cs2.boo can’t run without see it: Valve and FACEIT (where your matches come from), the AI provider behind the coach and the host our servers run on.
Deleting your data
Email support@cs2.boo and include your Steam ID. We’ll delete your account and the data tied to it within 30 days. Matches you played with other cs2.boo users may stay in their history, since those are their matches too.
